Weiss nicht, ob das hier hergehört, ich frag trotzdem mal :oops:

Hab eine Soundblaster Live Player 5.1 und jetzt das ASUS A8N SLI-Deluxe mit Sound-on-Board (Realtek ALC850).
Soundkarte oder Sound-on-Board, was ist besser?

kommt darauf an:

Kopfhörer und normale Brüllwürfen -> Onboard langt dicke

Anlage -> naja gibt besseres wie Onboard

Grundsätzlich ist zu sagen, dass onboard Karten die CPU belasten.
Eine Soundkarte mit einem vernünftigen Hardwarechip entlastet die CPU bis zu 20%.

Aber von der Qualität her würde ich sagen dass die Onboard Lösung bei diesem Board besser ist als die SB Live 5.1.

Ich hab mir die Audigy2 ZS reingesteckt

mhm oben hätte ich gralsritter noch recht gegeben, hat mich auch verwundert aber ich glaube wirklich wo gelesen zu haben, dass durch die effekte die cpu doch noch ein bischen mehr gefordert wird und das trotz soundprozessor :roll:
