Ich gehöre auch zu den ersten WinVista x64 Nutzern und hatte auch das Problem, dass es für MBM kein Vista-Update gibt und auch nicht geben wird.

Die Lösung:
Vista- Treiber für MBM selber machen.
Bei MS habe ich mir den Windows Treiber Developer Kit heruntergeladen.
Damit habe ich die MBM-DLL mit meinem eigenen Sicherheitszertifikat signiert.
Einziger Nachteil Windows akzeptiert diese Signatur nur im "Testmodus", was aber außer einer winzigen Meldung im Desktophintergrund nicht weiter stört.

Die Methode funktioniert übrigens mit vielen Treibern, die auch unter XP x64 funktioniert haben.

Die genaue Vorgehensweise werde ich bei nächster Gelegenheit mal in meinem neuen Forum: (edit mod bitte User per Mail anfragen) beschreiben.
