Hallo Leute,

ich habe gestern einen interessanten Artikel auf der Website "Tom's Hardware Guide" entdeckt . In diesem wird beschrieben, dass es möglich ist den Intel Pentium D 805 auf bis zu 4,1 GHz zu übertakten. Allerdings wird auch erwähnt, dass die Abwärme gigantisch in die Höhe steigt: Eine Verlustleistung von 210 Watt und ein Stromverbauch von 125 Ampere! Es wird dringend eine Wasserkühlung empfohlen.

Meine Frage nun: Wenn ich mich an diese Übertaktung wagen würde und noch folgende Komponenten kühlen möchte: 1x ATi Radeon X1900XT / 1x HDD 250GB / 1x Northbridge welcher Radiator währe hier zu empfehlen? Reicht ein Single- oder währe ein Dualradiator angebracht?

Da bist dann schon im Bereich des Dual-Radis, imho.

Ähm, von 2,66 GHz auf 4,1 Ghz takten hängt nicht nur von der Kühlung ab. :wink:

Und deine Festplatte wird so heiß dass man sie kühlen muss? Sonst heizt du sie nur auf.
