bin neu hier.
Habe mich nach langem zögern entschlossen mit Wasserkühlung zu beschäftigen.
Bei mir läuft ein Gigabyte P965-DQ6.
Als CPU ein C2D6300.
Dieser ist sehr gut luftgekühlt und läuft damit auch bei 3128 MHz.
Und zwar unhörbar leise mit einem großern Y-Tech Lüfter.
Die CPU´s werden dabei nicht heißer als 52°.
No need for Warercooling.
Jedoch habe ich mir vor einiger Zeit ein Sapphire HD2900PRO 1GB geleistet.
Fazit: nach meiner ASUS X1950PRO war das ´ne Kreissäge.
Nun habe ich dazu eine Coolmatic R600/HD2900XT erworben.
Paßt auch auf die HD2900PRO 1GB von Sapphire.
Allerdings muß von der unteren Backplate ein Stück abgesägt werden.
Ist jedoch recht unproblematisch.
Sonst paßt der Wasseranschluß später nicht mehr an den Kühler.
Dazu den größten Passivkühler den es im Angebot gibt. ULTRA-PLUS.
Als Überwachung ein FLOWMETER PRO 3.6.
Funktioniert am Gehäuse Fan Anschluß.
Testlauf ergab, daß das System bis 856 MHz stabil läuft.
Der Speicher läuft bis 958 MHz.
Jetzt kommt´s: der Referenztakt liegt bei 601/925MHz.
Damit ist die Karte nun deutlich schneller als eine HD2900XT.
Gothic 3 läuft in allerhöchster Einstellung stabil mit 52 Frames.
Ein ganz neues Gefühl.
Fazit: mein Büro ist nunmehr wieder leise.
Jedoch ganz unhörbar ist die Punpe nicht.
