Deine Angaben zur Konfig sind etwas mager 8)
Mainboard usw. fehlt

Vieleicht kommen wir der Sache so auf den Grund:

Besorg und installier mal den 3D-Mark2001
Laß ihn im Looping laufen und schaue passe genau auf, wie es abstürzt.
Betriebssystem?

Melde dich mal, wenn du das gemacht hast.

Hallo !

@Urs:

Folgende zwei Dinge noch:

Bevor Du das Spiel startest, solltest Du mit einem Vierenscanner mit den akuellsten Virensignaturen Dein System durchscannen.
Suche zusätzlich nach blaster*.* in C:\
Vielleicht hast Du den Blaster Virus ja immer noch......

Und dann solltest Du beim Spielen erstmal die Internetverbindung PHYSIKALISCH getrennt haben (bei Modem nicht online gehen, bei DSL einfach Netzwerkkabel ausstecken).
Sinn: vielleicht hast Du einen Trojaner, der das bewirkt.

Bitte auch meine anderen Ideen probieren !
Auf alle Fälle kann man so den Fehler etwas eingrenzen......
